Anime Spring Season 2011 - import locks

So, we're around the third, almost the half-way mark for a lot of the shows that are one cour this season. I now have a clear picture on my top 3 imports for this season.

1) Steins;Gate - No brainer. This is turning out very well and I am now currently playing the game, so this ties in perfectly since I read the anime should be following the true route.

2) Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko - I think Erio is a good enough explanation to import the show. ^^;

So, I was at Anime Boston this past weekend. The dealer's rooms at cons are pretty nice to scope out and buy stuff I normally can't buy via the typical shops that export from Japan.

Now, this is crazy. One dealer actually had it hanging up and I bought it immediately without question. It was the Toranoana K-On! Mio Akiyama tapestry that one got as a bonus item from the store if you pre-ordered all of season 1.

I would take a picture, but I don't have space to hang...

Okay...so I got my fangasm over Kousaka Kirino out of way a few weeks ago. Now, of course, one might wonder how she relates to my viewing and buying habits as a fan of anime and such things.

She is one of the main characters of Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai. Now, it was my most anticipated Fall 2010 show since the anime announcement was made. I was super happy when the show finally got green-lit as a previous adaptation was canceled (I can't seem to find that news...

Crunchyroll mobile streaming (somewhat) FTW!

I recently upgraded myself to a new phone and I decided to get the HTC Thunderbolt which can take advantage of Verizon's 4G network.

I remember finding out that Crunchyroll has an app for Android and I thought that would be awesome to have since I can watch stuff on the go. With my phone rather large display (4.3") coupled with the fast data network, I decided to give the app a whirl.

Now, for Android users, you actually need to have a premium account. Whatever...I...

Anime Spring Season 2011 - import potentials : Week 2

I doubt I'll be doing this every week, but I figured this time should okay. Not reviewing anything, just making note on what I might want to import. From last week, the only show I have dropped is Battle Girls: Time Paradox.

Shows I'm Currently Watching
1) Steins;Gate - Okay, so with episode 2, the show gets better and crazier. I really hope they don't mess this up one. Currently, top rated show to import.

2) Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko - only one episode...
