So yeah, Foxwoods Resort Casino is taking a hit due to the Economic Crisis. And as being the lowest in seniority in my current possition as poker dealer, I was of course the first target in this round of Layoffs (along with a good chunk of my fellow co-workers, if the size of that manila folder in the office was anything to go by)

Lucky Star, for a while now I've been thinking about picking up the series on DVD. But I'm not usually one for contemporary straight comedy animes, or taken in by the ultra-cutesy art style it rolls with. But I've seen the OP (and its parodies) and various youtube vids of skits from the show, and I thought it looked like a promising buy to change my usual pace of action/adventure shows. But I keep putting it off again and again and again....
