Oh yes please.

Christopher Eccleston is in final talks for Thor 2 villain role.
According to Marvel.com: Malekith the Accursed ruled the Dark Elves of Svartalfheim. Svartalfheim is one of the nine worlds of Asgard. Malekith mastered sorcery, making him a formidable ally to the other enemies of Asgard. He formed an alliance with the god of mischief Loki on behalf of Surtur. Not long after that agreement, he used a special food provided to him by Hela. The food contained some sort of magic, which gave him control of the humans of Earth. While continuing his quest, he took the life of Eric Willis, guardian of the Casket of Ancient Winters. Before his death Willis conveyed the Casket's location to Loki. Not willing to give up his quest, Malekith Kidnapped the Asgardian Lorelei in order to gain control of the god of Thunder. Thor discovered that he had been tricked into falling for a stack of wood, and became enraged as he learned that the real Lorelei was being held captive by Malekith. Lorelei was eventually freed but, Thor was forced to battle Algrim the Strong. Malekith attempted to destroy both combatants by plunging them into a pit of molten magma; subsequently Malekith retrieved the Casket of Ancient Winters, from the being known as Jagrfelm. Shortly after Jagrfelm's death, Malekith released its power upon Asgard in his quest to rule all nine worlds.

Thanks to DarthBob for the submission.
Sweet!
Bring on Kurse!
I'm guessing Walt Simonson will be acknowledged in this one.
Kurse will be a good challenge. This is shaping up to be great.
Destro was stupid for leaving Who after one season however.
I only hope this goes back to the look of the original and not the weaker Averages look. Ecclestone is an excellent British actor who will further add class to this franchise.
This is ridiculously great casting. Also, could be a great avenue to introduce Dr. Strange!
This was probably Mads Mikkelsen's role before he dropped out.
I've never watched Dr Who so I'm not familiar with him in that show but I did like him in Shallow Grave and 28 Days Later. He was pretty decent in Gi Joe as Destro despite being a turd movie.
In the words of the Immortal Jeff spicoli.....
"Awesome......Totally awesome!!!!!!"
"Hi, I'm Chris Nolan, and I'd just like to say that I endorse Christian Bale for the President of the Anger Management Association."
Christopher Eccleston is awesome. I loved his turn as Dr. Who, he had a little tiny air of menace to him that the other doctors mostly lack. He certainly has the chops to play any number of comic book villains.
