[Simulcast] Freezing Episode #12 Review

In Summary:
Freezing has been a very awkward series to watch overall for several reasons. So much of this season was focused on the bitter fighting between the girls of the academy outside of any actual training because they were just being mean and cruel to each other. None of the girls were all that interesting and the lead of Satellizer has so many conflicts in her personality that it's like she was built by committee. While I rather liked the animation overall, and the choreography itself, the show spent so much time with really bad color designs, murky shadows and the heavy covering up of nudity that it was incredibly frustrating to watch. The introduction of the invading aliens towards the end of this season actually revealed some good stuff, but it was all brought down by the first nine or so episodes which felt like it had just bullied the characters and the expected we'd care. Sadly, it was very hard to care. The show has some things going for it, but as a whole it left a lot to be desired.
