Great that its finally having a release both Bluray and DVD, Funi already has the movie but don't recall further licensing for the 2nd season besides streaming.

Season 2 is licensed: link. It's just won't be released this year. And it's unknown right now whether if FUNimation has acquired BD rights for season 2 as well.

Amazon.com has listed Season 2 (MSRP of $69.98 and release date of 3/20/12). It's probably the original planned release date.

Upscaled? Is the source really SD, or is it more like animated at 540p or whatever and then converted to 720/1080 like most common modern anime are done?
