Blah, this is usually a sign of 7 volumes (1/2/2/2/2/2/2).

Well, I was going to mention that Amazon has the first volume listed now, but I see WTK already edited that information into his post.

Sadly, I didn't have to look at the product listing to figure out this was an Aniplex title. I figured that was almost definitely the case when I saw that it wasn't actually possible to order it. Its suffering the same issue as the Nisemonogatari volumes.

REEEEEALLY wish Amazon Japan would make this available to pre-order. I'd like to place a monster order for June with a bunch of Bandai Visual stuff and however many Natsukise volumes solicited by then included. I've posted a message on Aniplex of America's Facebook page, sent out emails to Amazon JP and Aniplex Inc. regarding the matter. Have yet to hear a reply...

I've only been purchasing Aniplex discs on there for little over a year now. Has anyone experienced this before? Not just with Aniplex but a different publisher?

It's not uncommon for solicitations to come out in batches (rather than all at once), but it depends on the publisher.

Oh no no I don't mean the actual solicitation. The thing that has me peeved is that its listed "temporarily out-of-stock". I can't even add it to the cart. All of the Aniplex BD solicitations AFTER April 25th are showing up like that. The last few volumes of Persona 4, pretty much all of Nise, and Natsukise to my knowledge.

Vol.2 (7/25) is solicited now. But just like Vol.1, it's still unavailable for pre-ordering @ Amazon Japan.

WTF? That makes no sense at all. Nice to see a new Aniplex title one can preorder at Amazon though.

This is getting irritating. At least now I can guess at how much it will cost me... Still irritating.

Is everyone else getting an automated message from Amazon when inquiring about the issue?
