Me too, unless by strange chance the video quality is better. This cover is just...not very good.

A Funimation license rescue looking better than the original release? Has that ever happened before?

This cover looks alright I guess. I will be buying it, but I will still keep my Pioneer DVDs.

Way too busy there, but it works. The character artwork is nice, but just way too much of it.

You could maaaaybe make an argument for Slayers...

Samurai Champloo's second BD release is better than the original, IMO.

A busy series should have a busy cover :D I think what ruins this is the bars and text. Seems really weird with the image being so lively, but then such a boring title spot.

Also, I'd argue that FUNi's Trigun release was much better than the original. The box art work, the slimcase artwork -- it all looked extremely nice.

Trigun has gotten boned opening and ending wise on pretty much every single release...the original release didn't have the unique openings for each episode...then the special tins they released had all of the unique openings, but the ending still had hard subs and didn't look as good as the remastered openings. Then we get to the FUNi release and they used one opening for each episode again instead of the unique ones.

I was honestly expecting Universe to be in an Anime Classics line along with Muyo and In Tokyo...maybe some other time.
