I'll wait for a complete collection. Cant believe they split this into 2.

But it's like 26 episodes and it's first release. Why on earth would they box it all?
|
Cause I am use to buying complete season boxsets of Inuyasha and this is an old title. Just cause they took forever and a day to release this for a the 1st time is no fault of mine. It's been said that the dub for this has been done and in the can for ages now. Sides they could always bump up the price for a complete release. Warner Bros does brand new releases of TV shows all the time as complete sets in BD and DVD. Sure maybe WB is only doing distro but still... this release strategy sucks balls.

So your entire reasoning is because you feel self-entitled to it?
Or am I missing something here?
|
If it's self entitled then I would expect it to be free. Cause I am entitled to it :)
Since I have to pay for it, if it's not to my liking then I won't buy it. I dont have a problem paying for singles and at over priced releases ala Madoka... but Inuyasha is not one of those titles that ranks up there for it. I dont give a crap about cover art, cases, inserts, boxs... I dont ask for much... accurate subs and untouched (uncensored) video. Market has moved away from singles to complete season releases... I can buy singles if the show warrants it.
I've never bought a single for Inuyasha and I am not going to start now. Everything I've gotten was complete season boxes... same for Ranma. Only reason I got into Inuyasha is cause of the music (opening/ending themes), Sesshomaru & Kikyo (neither of them are the leads). I dont really go for the Shonen fighting power up shows... I think I have 3 series that fall under than category... Fighting Spirit (Geneon), Yu Yu Hakusho (Funimation) & Angelic Layer (LOL) (Adv). Inuyasha does not rank anywhere near any of those 3 titles.
I'm looking to finish this off cause I like to finish shows I start, but I can wait and if I forget about this show over time then no loss to me. Plenty of other entertainment media I can buy.
