I often come across news for Winter and end up not posting it because we don't have a thread for it, and I usually only bother with show-specific threads if it's something major, or surprising, or that I'm particularly interested in. Certainly I don't want the existence of this thread to stop people from making individual threads. Chuunibyou for example has gotten a lot of posts so obviously you want a separate thread for that.

When winter charts are up, we can use this thread. For now I assume this will mostly be "x was announced for winter" posts.

The GJ-bu adaptation is confirmed for winter. But can someone clarify something here? The novel seems to have a GJ-bu and a GJ-bu Chuutou-bu (middle school version). The latter is the one getting the adaptation, or a mix of both?

Nice, now it will be easier to know what is confirmed for Winter. If Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai 2 is in Winter, I really hope they will announce season 1 box soon...

Maoyuu Maou Yuusha has been confirmed for Winter. Also the cast is completely insane:

Cute hiking anime confirmed for winter! The anime designs look fantastic. They're adapted from Shiro's originals by Matsuo Yuusuke, who did the really great designs in the Black Rock Shooter OVA.

Oh wow, they are. "cute girls hiking" was already a premise that gets this a fairly high rank on my anticipation list, but that art certainly bumps it up to near the top.

With this, Vivid Red Operation, and Haganai Next, I have some very very high priorities for Winter already. Not to mention Sasami-san (because Shaft) and Maoyuu Maou Yuusha (because I'm not allowed to have S&W III apparently). Plus some more sequels in Minami-ke, Chihayafuru and Da Capo (though I don't predict an import for any of those).

Hagani is the only show I can call a "definite import" right now but there's so many other promising titles. Winter tends to be a better season for me than the "big" summer or fall seasons and I won't be too surprised if that's true again.
