Exciting new feature: along with grid and list views, you can also select list-but-with-no-pictures view now! (Or, as it is called by the web team, "text view.") And as a bonus just for me (really, they implemented this one after I asked, so very big thanks to the crew), if you click the text view button again, you get the item numbers! If you're a power user who's got the companies' product codes memorized (a.k.a., me), this is awesome. :D

didn't Dream Eater Merry have some image quality issues?

would it still be worth it to grab the BD, or should the DVD be more than sufficient enough?


(c/p because I still want to see if anyone can answer this)

EDIT: Actually I checked and yes it did. So now I'm really just wondering if its such a problem that just purchasing the DVD would yield more or less the same quality, or if the BD is still a noticeable upgrade but just not as noticeable when comparing R1 DVD to JP BD masters.

I bought it and the BD looks fine. Sure it probably doesn't look at good as the Japanese release but it's definitely better than DVD quality. If you like the show I'd say for the price they're offering you can't really go wrong.

I was going to go for Day 1's GitS and Gits: 2nd GIG but dang .... as of today, Stand Alone Complex has been completely removed from the website.

Eh, maybe Clannad+AS, but only if something else I actually care about pops up in the next two weeks. Don't really care about the series enough to make an order of just that.

If anything from that day, maybe Clannad and After Story on BD. But I already have the DVDs and I am not exactly looking to double-up. Besides that, it looks like I am safe for Day 5.
