So they're going with the Monster Island cast after all. Well I sure hope they've improved, although with the lack of anime work they've had in recent years, I don't know if that's going to be the case.

New cast members look good enough, and at least I know they've been active at this for the past several years. Of course, the directing will still be key, so I hope Campbell is at his best here.

Boo to multi-casting, though.

But on the bright side, they got Meg Bauman back to do an anime role for the first time in years. She really needs to be in more shows. Her Nadia remains one of my all-time favorite performances in a dub.

Which is interesting, since her original Kenshin character doesn't appear in this OVA, and her character in this hasn't had an Austin voice. I guess Campbell was getting the Austin people back and she was available so he decided to put her in there as well. I don't imagine there was anywhere in Austin that they would've recorded those guys, so they must've all just gone to Houston to record. I wonder if this will lead to any of them getting back into anime via the current Houston dubs.
