DOCKING TIME!

Oh man, that was great.

Akane's a fun protagonist, and her imouto is delightful in the way that only hyper-competent imouto can be.

Akane's transformation was cool, and can't wait to see what DOCKING means. Also Aoi's super-gay for Akane. Its like not even hidden.

Wow, that was a great first episode. Easily the most downright exciting first episode of the season.

Akane is a pretty darn good lead and yay for awesome imouto. I was particularly amused at Akane's little greeting routing with her grandfather, and then Momo's "wtf is wrong with you two?"

Akane's transformation key apparently activates by Yuri power. And holy crap, what a badass transformation scene it was. Can't wait to see the other girls' sequences.

Also, docking. Can the show possibly make it as gay as I hope it will be?

Strike Witches season three, even has Yoshika-chan re-incarnated climbing a tree to save a fuzzy animal.

Will probably end up as my favorite show this season.

Kind of fun to see the mascot animal to be the grandpa.

Episode 1:

- Sunrise butt!
- Hm this subtitle font, that's not the normal CR sub font, which means someone else probably translated it... ::skims:: Honorifics (good) but flipped order (bad). Watchable in a pinch, but waiting an extra day when I can get both done right faster with JK (though lolwut macrons? Easily fixed at least)? I guess I'll only use CR as a backup in cases where JK is slow, then.
- Sakura Ayane why are you so adorable?
- Everything is wonderful and perfect and everyone is happy and nothing ever goes wrong! ...Because clearly the entire world being powered with wireless energy from a single super-advanced power station can't possibly be a terrible disaster waiting to happen.

- Akane and Momo are both deadly cute. And Momo looks like a super-competent imouto. One of the best character archetypes ever!
- ...Nobody who puts that much mayo on anything should be able to retain the figure Akane has. Anime science!

- Helping small animals in trees. Hi there, Yoshika.
- Wait, she's afraid of heights? Oh man flying though the sky should get interesting.

- ...Well that's obviously a Neuroi.
- And then grandpa becomes a stuffed ferret because, uhhhhhhh... yeah.
- Hahaha they dump him in the fridge.
- "I've developed the ultimate weapons technology to fight the ultimate enemy, so let's program it in such a way that only my teenage granddaughter who is afraid of heights can use it!" And I'm fine with this.

- Oooh, badass fighter pilot lady saves Aoi.
- HAHAHA oh my god that henshin scene. Bwhahaha, that was so out of place, but really amusing.
- "What about your fear of heights?" "I got over it." Pbfffffft
- LET'S DOCKING!

Bwhaha oh man, that was amazing. What a hilariously generic opening episode, in just about every way possible. And that's half the reason it was so fun.

-Imouto is the house wife who tends to the family expenses. With a tiny velcro purse she wears around her neck. Aww?

-I can't believe grandpa is this cute talking magical animal.
-Akane has a brand new key, does anyone have a brand new set of roller skates?

That's Aniplex of America's subtitle font, so they're providing the translations directly. They did the same with CR's Magi stream, for the record.

Anyways, this episode was interesting enough, though with this season's scheduled as packed as it already is, I'll probably just watch the second episode to see what's going on and then put it on hold for later.
