That's what I've heard, too. Kadokawa Japan shut it down. It was a good idea that came at a very bad time.

That's really too bad. I liked the way they were doing things. It's unfortunate that they arrived on the scene a little late for the party.

That's certainly disappointing to hear. Now I have to wonder what this will mean for stuff they were involved with.

That's too bad. I do remember seeing this sometime late last time, but didn't make much of it.

This is certainly very disappointing to wake up to. They were a good company, no doubt. As TGB said, they just arrived a little late to the party. I'll admit, I loved Kadokawa Pictures USA, so I'm feeling very saddened. They brought some great stuff to our shores.

That's a shame to hear. They have been quite active here in the USA. But it is what it is and Kadokawa Japan thought that it was for the best.

It doesn't feel like they've done a lot with their model lately so I guess this isn't the end of the world. They're also not leaving any titles hanging, which makes it much easier to stomach. Still a bit of a shame though.

Not leaving any hanging? Maybe you forgot they announced the "licenses" of
My Heartfelt Sympathy, Ninomiya-kun, H2O ~Footprints in the Sand~, and Coo ~ Our Guardian (Wagaya no Oinarisama.) at AX 2008?

the other three they announced did get licenses by Right Stuff or Funi, but these titles were definitely left hanging. Not _incomplete release_ level hanging, but still hanging.

Wow, this is a shock. Although I guess nothing of value was lost (except for the titles Quarkboy mentioned)
