Re: TOKYOPOP Comes To An End

so French may be the best second language choice. Its guessable & most easily typeable/translatable with software.

I don't see Aria's NA licenses as bad luck, in anything but being taken by too...

Re: Tokyopop to Close North American Publishing Division

You realize it's been just about a year since DC shuttered CMX? *sigh* I've not got as many series left hanging as you though:

Gakuen Alice
V.B. Rose (2 more volumes dammit!)
Maid-Sama
Bizenghast...

Re: Tokyopop to Close North American Publishing Division

Doubtful. Shawne knows better than to put too many irons in the file. That's never ended well for anyone.

Re: Opinion on LE Box Set and Second Box

When posting about a DVD release please:
A) Put the post in the forum for the region in which it was released (or at the very least state what region it's from) and
B) Put the damn series name in...

Re: Borders Suspends payments to some publishers

Pffft. Levy never wanted to be a publisher to begin with. He wants to be a famous producer. (Seriously, where do you think all the crappy stunts TP has been pulling for years and years comes from?)

Re: Kodansha and Dai Nippon Printing buy Vertical

You've rescued Aria and will be releasing it properly, in a timely fashion, with color pages, without bizarre contrast adjustment, without "creative" slang and colloquialisms in the adaptation, with...

Re: Anime Draft 2011: Round 4 voting

Winning the AOD anime draft will not help you make a name for yourself or break into the anime industry.

Hate to break it to you.[/QUOTE]

Now I see why this person got banned from the VA drafts....

Actually, I'd like to see Del Rey take a crack at it like was originally rumoured when they'd first announced their partnership with Kodansha. Being originally a SF/F imprint themselves, I'd trust...

Re: MX Media To Eliminate Honorifics In Subtitles

Re: FUNimation Acquires Kaleido Star: Legend of Phoenix - Layla Hamilton Story
