Re: The Anime on DVD Importers Archive Project

It will take me some time to review the list, but I'm pretty certain some of the items I've purchased are not there. I also have several items I purchased before I began posting on here, and I've...

Re: The Girl Who Leapt Through Space Volume 1 [DVD]

Bandai generally gets extras like these for their releases, so for them to NOT get this one seems odd. Hell, they did a really half-assed job on HiME initially, but they still got the little picture...

Re: Amazon, Funimation and busted up slipcases.

The non shrinkwrapped covers abound for every Disney release as well. I have often seen them ripped or worn on the corners when glancing over new releases in stores like Target and Walmart.

As to...

Re: Do you buy all of your anime online?

Other than a used copy of Princess Tutu volume 1 I scored at a used disk store in the area last year, I have not purchased a single anime title since at least 2008 at a brick and mortar store. And...

Re: FUNimation's Anime Survey Needs You Now

I was more than happy to tell them what sort of packaging I like and how much I budget a month towards my anime collection. Maybe I will get to see my budget switch to 90% US releases and 10% imports...

Re: [JP] The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya [EngSub][EngDub]

That's pretty much my sentiment as well. A November release date will be so much easier since I will be down to only a couple shows by then, and I should have enough HMV points accumulated to pay for...

Re: Best credit car company to use on amazon.jp

I did this with my Capitol One card this past month. I had to add both HMV and Right Stuf since both stores set off the fraud detection. It's funny how a charge under $300 dollars from HMV set off...

They will only ship when everything is in stock. There is a notice that they will only hold in stock items for 30 days. But I'm not certain if they uphold that with international orders. I have had...

Japanese Blu Ray is under the same region coding as the US, so you don't need to worry about it. We're both under the Region A coding.

Re: HMV.co.jp and external bonuses

I've received both post cards and posters from HMV. The way they're shipped usually varies though. I sometimes get them folded, usually loosely wrapped around the DVD they come with and even rolled...

Re: Funimation has a new survey, this time about TV broadcast

Well, at least I'm not alone for filling in Discovery as an other option. I don't really watch any of the other channels except Cartoon Network (and that's really just for Chowder.)

Re: FUNimation New Title Solicitations (Oct 09)

Wow, there's a month this year where I won't be getting anything from Funimation. Unless they change the line up, it looks like October will be a very light month for me.
