Not in this show. Everything is done in slow motion godzilla/thundrbirds style fashion. If Reideen has to be summoned, fly to the monster of the week and pull out a weapon that is easily 5 minutes....

So many anime rely on characters transforming but in most honestly after you have seen the sequence a few times it gets a little old...Utena the stairs my lord the stairs...sailor moon...but surly...

yup...but they did it in the first show with the dress of a major character toward the end and they did it here with the six seconds and no pants so it isn't completely out of character but still...
