I have my doubts that Sentai Filmworks or Switchblade are really separate entities from ADV. When you use the same offices and the businesses are run by the same group of people it's hard to call it "separate." I guess you can contract with yourself to produce English dubs, but it's a very odd turn that seems to indicate ADV can't do business as ADV Films for some reason. Whether it's dodging the bank, dodging other creditors, trying to distance themselves from the fallout with Sojitz, or trying to drum up business by coming up with fake business there's a reason behind the scenes for it that we're not privy to. It makes no sense, otherwise.

Obviously the ICV2 interview is a fluff piece but I find a couple lines in there to be rather ridiculous statements (on the topic of Blu-ray and the idea that anime on DVD is "recession-proof," specifically).
