A little bit of hyperbole on my part.
That's why I tend to keep comments like that to myself, but I was trying to make a point. But basically, I felt that the junior high school bits just clashed too much with the BRS scenes and I didn't really buy the attempts to connect them. It just felt like they were shoehorning BRS into a slice-of-life drama.
