I haven't shopped at HMV (and hearing this discourages me from doing so) but I get it a lot with Amazon. Not as a high percentage of my shipment, because I get so many, but I'm probably dealing with them at least
every 4-6 weeks for Amazon-related orders, more often if I buy something out of the ordinary like Moritapo points for Niconico or DLsite games or something.
And the fraud clarification calls are so useless anyway. They ask you to confirm a bunch of transactions with utterly ambiguous names that bear no relation to the names of retailers you purchased from. "Catalog sales", oh that's specific. -_-
