Volume 37 is
scheduled for release of January 29, 2013, and while there isn't a solicit for the final volume yet, I'd assume volume 38 will land sometime around late April 2013.

There was actually a job listing up recently (back in early/mid-May) for a manga editor. It was posted by Random House, for Kodansha Comics. Obviously with some of the issues surrounding Kodansha Comics releases as of late, and the quality control problems, I'd say they are most definitely understaffed. It likely doesn't help that the parent company is probably pressuring them quite a bit.
