Really? I thought this was one of the best new anime to come out in the past few years. It's fast-paced, has nice character development, and has the feel of classic shows before the simultaneous censorship, moe, and bishounen crazes. To each his own, I guess... |
I enjoyed it enough to buy it eventually even without Blu-ray and with an ugly cover, but I found it incredibly stupid. I can suspend my disbelief quite a bit, but this show just went so over-the-top it was ridiculous. And while I don't mind violence in my anime, this just felt like they were getting off to the gore and seeing how far they could push it.
