Do you need a premium membership to watch these on Nico? I have one but I'm blocked for being outside of Japan anyway. If so, and if they have a stake in Nico, I guess they could be getting part of the premium membership subscription revenue too. |
No, but they're just live broadcasts similar to what you'd see on TV. Unlike nearly everything but Chuunibyou, that's the only time you can watch it on niconico. You can't timeshift it either.
