As for Chuunibyou, ChuunibyouVol. 1 BD chart here with episode numbers added. Episode 7 was the big "hey this show is a serious drama sometimes too!" episode with a dramatic cliffhanger and was also the beach episode. And yet this marks the first time the title has been out of the top 50 (if only barely) since the beginning of November. Hardly bad of course. I'm just surprised the first episode to drop it below 50 was, of all things, that most recent episode. Maybe it's just because the episode 6 bump was so high and so long-lasting that it all evens out. Hoping to see it back in the top 20-30 again after the next episode. It's still on track to pass Darkness in BD points within a few days.

The day after episode 7, when the big rise tends to occur coincided with the relevation of the four box images from HMV, Gamers, Animate, and Tsutaya. I've noticed the sales have been higher at the middle two (typically haven't checked Tsutaya) since the box art was revealed. My assumption is that the people who would buy after the episode either want to wait after the cliffhanger is resolved and/or are purchasing from those stores for the boxes. Still not doing horrible though.
