Rules clarification (2012/04)

A question of what can and can't be posted here came up so I figure I should clarify. There used to be rules about non-eBay auctions and straight up for Sale threads, but you can ignore all that and simplify it to the below:

- As long as you're selling something anime/manga/otaku-related, it's fine.
- Any auction site is allowed, doesn't have to be eBay.
- Straight up For Sale threads (non-auctions) are fine.
- But you're on your own. This is an anime forum, not a commercial retailer or auction house. Feel free to post "I'll sell you [x] for $[y]." threads but if the buyer/seller rips you off it has nothing to do with these forums, no more than a purchase dispute between you and TRSI or Amazon would. Deal with it yourselves.

If you want guaranteed buyer/seller protections, sell on eBay or Amazon Marketplace or some other place that is willing to arbitrate disputes, and handle the process there.
