Default [US] Serial Experiments Lain

via 91.8 The Fan: Interview with Lance Heiskell

Note: the interview occurred sometime before the June and July solicitations.

- "We are trying to do some really nice things for Tenchi and Lain."
- "We have it in house, I just haven't watched is...I really want to see that new telecine print that Geneon Japan did for Lain."

Oh man, I cannot wait for this. They just have to get that print. It's just so gorgeous.

Given I have been umming and arring the import of the Japanese box for a long while, this would save me some trouble.

I really hope it materializes, this would be an instant buy at pretty much any price!

Sept? Heh, yeah. When I see it...

The real question is, how much? They could set a premium price on this.

If it truly materializes (September or not), it could go anywhere from $49.98 to $69.98. It's not likely that it will top $69.98. If I had to guess, $59.98 is more probable.

If they get that new print telecine print, then I'll pay Aniplex prices for it. That print is amazing.
