Bomb Art Online.
Randomly transporting the main character into a real version of the video game he plays is pretty hard to pull off without it seeming really unnatural, but I'd say they did it pretty well considering. But most importantly, the OP is REALLY GREAT! It's pretty likely to be my favorite of the season, although I shouldn't say that before a bunch of stuff has started. The ED is alright as well. I find some May'n songs obnoxious, but I didn't have a problem with this one. The visuals are all pretty strong in the series and especially the OP. The ED also has some nice illustrations. With the introduction of what appears to be the main female, we're starting to get some of the fanservice indicated by the PVs, OP, and ED, and from the preview, it looks like she'll have some unpleasant sexual experiences, or at least she did in her past.

My Action Show Protagonist Can't Possibly Be This Fucking Stupid
That was horrible. The main character is both loathsome AND an absolute moron. He's also seemingly immortal. At least three bombs blew up less than five feet from his head and he never even lost consciousness or suffered any apparent injuries. I was never expecting much from this show and then I heard some... unpleasant things about it, but there is absolutely nothing to make me want to stick around anyway. Dropped so hard.

Sakamoto really enjoys playing that game.
It was his life, well, until things suddenly changed. In the middle of nowhere, a priceless chance. To play for real... boy, was he surprised. Will give this one a try.

about how he seemed indestructable. I'm not familiar with the manga, so I'm curious to see how the girl who shows up at the end plays into all of this. I'm willing to give this series the benefit of the doubt for awhile, unless it spirals into a bloodbath ala Battle Royale, then I'm bailing. I'm just not into that.

That was incredibly boring... There are certain problem with not looking at _any_ spoilers for this season. ^^; The general concept shown didn't appeal, although I'd hope that there's more to it than that. I might force myself to give it one more episode, but that'll require a lot of boredom at some point to get me to go that far.
Notes posted on CR under the episode were raving about the manga, but I haven't seen it and don't feel like wasting time looking for it.

It's a game of Halo with no guns, only bombs. Ryouta is only good at that, and now, he is engaged in a real life version of this game cast away on a remote island where it is kill or be killed. He kills someone, and then he meets a girl who is undressing.
So here is another gamer enters the game anime after watching Ixion Saga DT. This one is far more serious and it has that same feel that I am getting from Deadman Wonderland where those who have done terrible deeds are battling for survival. It seems like after tossing that controller at his mother that he was shipped off to the island. I'll give it another episode or two considering that they don't exactly reveal what the purpose of all this is.

Uh... yeah, this is getting pretty bad. And it's not even that pretty. Some of the characters' faces were incredibly awkward, and there's really nothing too impressive. This show really doesn't deserve its fantastic opening. Deadman Wonderland is definitely another one that made me think that.
While I hated most of the episode, I did really like how it changed Himiko's perspective on things just in time to coincide with Sakamoto's story and bring things back to where they were at the end of his episode, from her point of view. I think it would've been more effective if she was shown trying to kill him in the previous episode, so the contrast with her backstory would be that much more drastic, until it shows how she got to this point. Instead she just kind of backs off in fear when she sees him, then we see her calling him scum here, after we see her having decided that all men are scum. I can't say I blame her for that outlook given what she's been through, but it was all handled pretty poorly.

Himiko about Sakamoto.
Looks like she got stuck on that island as well. At least she found a friendlier bunch... or not. Flashback to her normal school days were interesting. It's gonna be fun watching how she'll react to Sakamoto.

More of the same. New character, kind of comically likeable but still an asshole, which is pretty important for survival. This time, Sakamoto goes back to being the main character, teaming up with this guy, and the plot kind of moves forward, not as much as it should at this point, but still more than the previous episode obviously. A little bit of backstory on how they ended up there, which for some reason this guy remembers but Sakamoto doesn't, but we don't really know why this crazy guy is doing this or how he got the resources. Let's see how far they can actually get in just one cour.
