Default Did ADV cancel Your and My Secret?

I was just wondering if ADV is going to release the next 2 volumes that have been out in Japan for a while, or if they've canceled it.

I don't know if they ever formally announced the release of volume 2, so they probably never officially cancelled anything... but the chances of the other volumes being released are about as good as the chances of Jarred ever saying, "Not another sports manga!"

Didn't they kind of just put most (all?) of their manga series "on hold" for the time being? or was that someone else?

I liked Your and My Secret, and would probably find a way to buy it if they put out other volumes, but the ADV series I was mostly hoping would continue was Peacemaker Kurogane .

I was just rereading my copy of this book and thinking how sad it is that ADV will probably never release another volume of this. Or the other volume of the Happy Lesson manga. Or more Aria. Or the rest of Steel Angel Kurumi. Or... well, you get the idea.

There was a secondhand report from Ushicon that ADV supposedly said they were eventually going to finish all the manga they've started. Even if it was said, though, any sane person will file that under "I'll believe it when I see it."

If there's enough buzz for some of these titles, I would think another publisher would give them a shot.

Except I would assume ADV retains the rights, whether or not they choose to do anything with them. Presumably their license would expire eventually, but not anytime soon.

Ok, thanks for the heads up. I guess I won't be buying any more manga from ADV anymore, that is if they even release any new manga.

Edit: just checked the GN Comparison Chart, looks like ADV really likes to cancel lots of manga, why do they even bother starting something they won't finish. They should just stick to anime DVDs IMHO.

Because those manga flopped at the bookstore. If it doesn't make money, than no reason to continue producing it and take a lost. ADV still continue to release their popular title, but the bad-seller are the one that are on hiatus.
