I'm gonna figure out how to get a friends code. All I've done with my Wii so far is play Zelda.

Although I'm not sure I'll be participating with any Mii travel, as I've decided to turn off WiiConnect24 when I turn off the Wii. I've added both you and BigPants. |

I registered my computer email account to my Wii and replied to the message the Wii send to my email from my computer. I noticed the Wii disc drive glowed blue until I checked the reply on my Wii. Also, if anyone is curious, the way they did it was through email. Wii email is w(insert friend code number)@wii.com. The good thing is you don't have to worry about spam. No one can send your Wii messages unless you register their Wii number or email address (for non-Wii email) on your Wii.

As for the e-mail, I can use regular e-mail to send messages to the account but I won't be able to check my messages except for on my Wii?

You just won't receive them until you turn on the console and they've been downloaded. As far as I know, e-mail sent to the Wii address can only be checked on the Wii at this time. That said, I've linked the Wii shop with My Nintendo login so they could have a possible tie-in at some point where you log onto your My Nintendo account and can access Wii e-mail (please note this is pure speculation for now). -Magus

Just an update, I just entered everyone here into my address book to register (and I will continue to add people if I receive any requests), so please just accept so I can send along my Mii to anyone if they want more Mii's!

i've added you to my friends list, although you're still showing as "grey" on it
(one thing that I think Nintendo could improve on with the list is a notification when someone adds you).
