Any word on these having English Subs?

The US HD-DVDs will have subs, as will their Japanese counterparts. Whether the Blu-ray ones for those as well is unknown, though there is a chance since the subs will already be done for the HD-DVD, and BV might add it to the BD ones in preparation for a possible US release later.

Other than that, GitS2 and FF7AC has subs. The rest do not as of writing this. Details may change as titles come closer to release date and more is known.

Studios releasing HD content are basically losing money trying to build a market right now, so there's really not that much incentive for anime companies to jump in and do the same. Anime is a niche market which pretty much ensures that only a select few titles have even a basic chance of turning a profit. That'll change as the formats build more steam and you have a larger installed playerbase, but for now it's too early for most of them.

Interesting point I hadn't thought of that. Well, cross our fingers the market will grow rapidly enough to give them the incentive they need to kick their dvd catalog into the HD format.

Not alot stuff from USA. but since we are in same region as japan i get most of my BD from there once they have subs . I just wish bandia BD did not also have DVD version.

I think that also depends on whether you are willing to pay that price for them. Japanese BD are probably going to be pricier than their North American counterparts just like it is with R1 vs R2 Japanese DVDs.

According to Play magazine, 3x3 Eyes Volume 1 will be released on DVD and Blu-ray in June. Obviously I have high doubts of the likelihood of the information, but figured I'd post the scan of the article anyways.
