This one really is confusing as John said it was the second series but this cover and the synopsis seem to be of the first series Ikusa Otome Valkyrie (戦乙女ヴァルキリー). This isn't the final cover so there might be a mistake but I hope not. Either way the title really sucks.

It's par for Kitty Media's course—avoiding the Wagner reference would be pretty much impossible at this point in their game. (I'll be adding it to my R1 punning hentai titles list once the series is confirmed.)

Yeah, those puns really do nothing for me and just make me . I don't know anything about this titles and hopefully everything will get straightened out after there's more info released about it.

Okay now that we seem to have the final official cover I'm leaning toward it being the second series Ikusa Otome Valkyrie Shinshou (戦乙女ヴァルキリー 真章) or Battle-Maiden Valkyrie True Chapter.

This is the one with the dark elves, nunsplotation, and bug birthing. I'm leaning that direction due the Valkyrie more ornate armor and helmet and general newer look then the other cover.

Except that that is the limited edition cover of volume 2 of the original series; here is the Getchu.com series link for comparison, with larger cover images available here and here (click the cover image thumbnails). (DMM apparently does not stock the limited edition.)

Nope, nobody has clarified yet which Valkyrie series it is. At least, not that I've seen. I guess we probably won't know for sure until it comes out.
