This is Mamiko Noto's other series this season. It's shoujo romance anime about a girl who looks creepy, but is actually very sweet. Oh, yeah, Production I.G. is producing it. It has Mamiko Noto as the lead, so it's a MUST watch.

If the initial watch is any indication then this series has definite potential. Noto Mamiko is definitely working nicely as Kuronuma Sawako. Perhaps I'll have more thoughts later. Either way I'm interested.

I really liked this adaptation. The colors make everything come alive a lot more. It was true to the story and although they had a lot to cover in episode one (prologue had 60 pages in the manga) they did a good job. I'm already looking forward to episode 2.

Agreed. Mamiko Noto is a great choice for Sawako. Her voice really lends itself well to that type of character. The op is pretty nice as well. A lot of fluffy Sawako.

Man that was sweet. Sawako is adorable. Mamiko Noto is just awesome in this role.

Been trying out a few ep 1s today, and so far this is the first show that had screamed 'stand out' for me. Not only does it have the Noto in an interesting (and very likeable) lead role, but the male lead Kazehaya also seems interesting. Of course, Sawako owns the show immediately with both comedy and love.

Definitely sticking with this one.

Just watched the first episode and loved it, just like the manga. I tried out the volume 1 of the manga about 1 month ago because it looked interesting and fell in love with the characters. I can see why its the best selling shoujo currently with sales of over 500K per volume.

The chibi Sawako are so freaking adorable, her faces are funny as hell too in episode 1.
