If nothing else, I have a definite liking for Lucy. The red dress definitely works. Beyond that I'd have to think about it.

Although I have to ask. Just how many times did they say "Fairy Tail" in the first episode?

I haven't watched episode 1 yet but I thought she sounded very good in the trailer.

I always thought she would do fine in this role, I was lol'ing @ the blind hate Hirano caused being casted for this, ffs you would think Lucy was a demanding role like Beatrice from Umineko the way some people were acting. Speaking of Beatrice can't wait to hear her VA in Ohara voice my fav character from Fairy Tail in Erza.

By the way, that fansubbed preview has a glaring translation error in the subtitles.

"I'm searching for someone who can use gate keys" is completely wrong.
"Open, Gate to the Treasure Vase Palace"?
For peat's sake people, 95% of the lines were straight out of the manga, you could have at least looked them up even without a script. And I bet a lot of people will think they're better because they use "mage" instead of "wizard". (Note: the author himself wants "wizard").

Sadly, most people are under the false impression that the fansub translation is always better. Simply because it's the first translation they read. I could go into a host of reasons for this, but I will stop here.

Well, if the author wants wizard then that would be fine by me. Still as for mage vs wizard, which one I'd prefer would depend on the setting. Then again, that would require me actually double checking on what the difference between a mage and a wizard actually is.

Regardless, in my case I ended up watching the live airing for obvious reason. So it wasn't like it was translated. On a side note, I think in the case of Fairy Tail, they should adjust the "it will be available for _____ in X amount of time" thing. Since they mention everyone and that's highly misleading. It should say "It will be available for anime members only in X amount of time and everyone else forget about it"

Lucy is totally hot and has a fantastic rack. I wouldn't call myself an Aya Hirano fan (the only role I've heard her voice is Haruhi) but she did a fantastic job as Lucy. I wasn't sure how Rie Kugimiya was going to do as Happy, but she did a pretty great job too.
