Actually, the expiration date is 3/7, not 3/9

I am hoping Walmart B&M will have it cheaper like the have most Disney BD releases the first week. Maybe I'll stop by today and check it out.

FYI, folks, the coupons are indeed stackable, since the Disney coupon is a manufacturer's coupon and not a Best Buy coupon.

Thusly, if you buy the Ponyo BD combo pack and any of the other eligible DVDs:

I don't think there is. That is unless you're like me. The price was cheap enough and the additional extras/lithos too.

Basically, yes. It's a hell of a deal, especially since these are discs that don't tend to receive any sorts of substantial discounts (i.e., high wholesale prices and no viability as loss-leaders).

The eternal answer: it depends.

The menus have been redone, which is fairly minor.

The discs include little lithograph prints, which are of differing value to different folks.

There are new extras. In addition to the "Behind the Microphone" segments with the English cast that were on the original discs, Disney went over to Japan and visited Miyazaki and Ghibli, and conducted a wide-ranging interview with Miyazaki about Ponyo and the three re-releases, which was then divided up by release and put on each relevant disc, along with other new footage about production on each film.
