Default The [Repriced Releases Update] Thread
NOTES:
  • Repriced releases listed below are 2012 titles (2010 - 2011 archived in the 2nd post) that are not getting a new SKU.
  • Linked releases are reprices that should taken into effect already. It may vary from retailer to retailer.
  • Unlinked releases are subjected to change.
  • S.A.V.E. releases not getting a new SKU will be listed here too. More details can be found HERE.
  • Listed release date are subjective. The repricing almost always occur much earlier than that (examples: the repricing on the S.A.V.E. releases for Baldr Force EXE and Venus Versus Virus was effective as of 3/31)
  • [::: title :::]* = May be getting closed out with select retailers!
  • [::: title :::]** = Select retailers still have it @ original MSRP

Very great news to hear about the Sony ones, gonna get Tekkonkin Kreet ,and re-buy Paprika since my BD got damaged when I moved.

There is still no official confirmation on the two mentioned titles. It's not official until all (or a number) of the sites starts to change its MSRP.

I would guess that Paprika and Tekkon Kinkreet will probably be reduced to $25 like The Sky Crawlers was. They've been out for a few years now so a price drop is very likely to happen. I've been holding out on getting them for price drops on both of them too.

A few of the repricing has already taken place for FUNimation (6/15) including the $25 drop for Witchblade (BD).

EDIT: It's all of the 6/15 repriced releases now including the YYH sets.

Lost Universe shares a creative team with the popular Slayers anime series: Both anime properties were based upon novels by Hajime Kanzaka (Slayers), directed by Takashi Watanabe (Slayers, Slayers Next, Slayers Try, Shakugan No Shana) and feature character designs by Naomi Miyata (Slayers, Slayers Next, Slayers Try). Additionally, both vocal casts are led by Megumi Hayashibara (“Lina Inverse” in Slayers), who also performs the theme songs for each series. Amazon and Deep Discount are listing the MSRP for the Paprika and Tekkon Kinkreet Blu-rays at $24.95 now.
