They do mention worldwide in the press releases. So it is hopeful for those of you outside of North America.

Crunchyroll is the world's largest anime-focused content and social networking service, and with this partnership, is making a decisive transition from a platform for user-uploaded content to a platform for professionally-produced content.
I'm willing to give them a chance if they're going to stop hosting user-uploaded (i.e. pirated) content.

Though I'm not at all interested in Naruto... let's hear what the other titles are already.

I think it'll be more interesting if Dattebayo stops subbing Naruto with this decision. Or more interesting if Viz and the Japanese decide to go after them since they are now directly involved.

Somehow...I doubt it on both fronts.

Yep, they'll stop on January 15th, when Viz starts.

I think that too much exposure is being given to Dattebayo. So they stopped. If they didn't then TV Tokyo would have just put BayTSP after the downloaders and both parties could have done a world of pain on Dattebayo. In fact TV Tokyo can still have BayTSP go after the downloaders at any time (like what's happening with Shuga Chara Doki!). I was kind of hoping to see what legal action TV Tokyo and VIZ would have taken on them.

Dattebayo would have been a perfect group to make an example of.
