The new Dragonball special was awesome. I will see the One Piece one later.

I watched the Dragonball one. Ah, nostalgia. For a moment all was right in the world and I was reminded why I loved DB stuff back in the day. However, the lag was horrible, so I'll be putting off One Piece for another day. I can only handle so much laggy streaming.

I watched the Dragon Ball episode and it was very nostalgic. I'm glad they went through the effort to redo the opening. This almost made me want to buy FUNi's DBZ release, but then I slapped myself and came back to my senses. No surprise that it's all the same voice actors. I mean, how many times have they had to re-record themselves over the years for video games? Those people must have it set. But yeah... Seeing Vegeta act like the way he did was humorous, though a little bit off-character.

I'll be watching One Piece's maybe later on tonight. I didn't really care too much for Romance Dawn when I originally read One Piece, but it looks like they've integrated it with the current story somehow.

I watched both the Dragon Ball and the One Piece specials (I don't know anything about Tegami Bachi, so I didn't watch that one).

The Dragon Ball one made me miss that show and hope that they decide to make some more in the future (with Toriyama-sensei's help, of course....)

The One Piece one was surprisingly faithful to the pilot it was based off of (that I remember, as I read it a while ago). The integration of the current characters didn't really feel too forced, either. Just don't watch it if you've only seen/read what's out in the US, because there are crewmate spoilers for up through the Thriller Bark arc.

The only negative is that Trunks is so cute that Japan will ruin the fun by making shota manga of him.
