Not a new title but fans of the series, who have been avoiding it till now, might be happy to see this:

Fruits Basket Boxed Set -- the Complete Series and More!

*might be something like the set that was released by Madman in Australia in Jan.

I have been wanting to get Fruits Basket ever since I finished the anime but was waiting for all the ultimate editions to be released but this is even better... especially since they seems to have been canceled. Not really interested in the other ones (maybe Saving Life sounds a little interesting) but I think that they should take a break from licensing titles until they can manage what they already have.

I'm guessing TP saw VIZ's Naruto/DBall/DeathNote boxes doing well, and followed suit. It does sound pretty nifty. As for the Omnibuses, I've always seen TP's as more of a promotional thing.... something nice to pick up for a gift for someone [like the boxsets they used to do], but not a long term effort, especially since only a few they were issuing were for finished series [DramaCon's is a nice, complete volume though].

Since these both look to be short series, which is most of what TP licesnes, I don't think they'll affect the schedules of other titles. With the current bookstore market, we get what we get nowadays. I did just notice that they relisted This Ugly Yet Beautiful World vol.1 for November though, which is good to see. http://www.amazon.ca/This-Ugly-Yet-B...8366900&sr=1-1 which I guess is just another sign that we should wait and see.
