In Conclusion:
.Hack//Alcor provides an interesting tale within the .Hack universe that plays a little more towards the personal and emotional side of things, toning down the action a little in the process. It works well and creates a touching little tale. However, it’s probably not a good place to begin the series, as a number of references seem to be made towards the G.U part of the series, so if you haven’t touched on that part of the series in any of its incarnations you might end up a little confused and not quite fully get to know the characters. However, once you are properly acquainted with the series, be sure to come back and check out this touching little side-story.
