The purpose of this thread is to have a complete list of 4-Koma manga that have been released in North America since it can be difficult to find one otherwise and a list of 4-Koma manga that you would like to be license. Also, it's a place to discuss and comment about any 4-Koma manga. It would be appreciated to have your help to complete the lists.

Note:

Hybrid = Mixture of normal strips and 4-Koma, the fraction that is 4-Koma will vary from hybrid to hybrid. It could be high or low.
1-page manga = a manga in which the length of one chapter or one sub-chapter is one page, the fraction that is 1-page manga will vary. It could be high or low.

Tokyo Pop has a manga series called "Neko Ramen" which from what I've been told is a 4-Koma series about a Cat that makes ramen.


In any case, there are several 4-Koma of interest for me to see licensed. They include the following.

Mahou no Jumon

Choir
Akuma-sama Help
Etc

Note that the interest in some is stronger than others. It ranges from, "It may be worth learning more about this title" to "Yes, I definitely need to get this one".


Also, if all of these were to suddenly come out at once, I'd need to decide which to get first. There's the idea of prioritizing stronger interest series. As well as the whole "It's only 2 volumes total, so...." type scenarios.

ComicsOne/DrMaster released Cosplay Koromo-chan by Mook. It seems to be out of print/out of stock now, though.

Tokyopop has licensed and released the ".hack//4koma" manga.

From what I've heard Hetalia is also a 4-Koma series, and it's licensed by Tokyopop. So I guess that's another one.

I read Hetalia in the original. Hetalia is 4-koma for the most part. It also has some parts which were drawn in other formats, though.

DMP published Great Place High School, which is mostly 4-koma, with some standard format pages tossed in here and there.

Yen Press also has a 4-koma manhwa, Aron's Absurd Armada.


ETA: Weren't some of the Di Gi Charat books 4-koma? I know the Broccoli ones weren't, but there were 2 volumes put out by IronCat and 4 others by VIZ. I might be mistaken though, as it's been an awfully long time since I read them, and you can't find them too easily now...

I have the first two volumes by VIZ. Between the two, there's only a 4 page 4koma story about a trip to hot springs; less than some random 4koma omake in a regular manga series, really. Though I can't speak for the other volumes.
