Full list. Slow week, 804 DVD and 280 BD threshholds. I'm glad that K-ON!! at least comes out before the big final week of the month so it's not quite as crowded.

Weekly rank | Previous week | Weekly sales | Total sales | # weeks on list | Title

Note: LE is assumed unless it doesn't exist or otherwise specified.
Note: Bold for the TV anime Vol. 1s.

Fall update:
Tantei Opera Milky Holmes Vol. 1 does 5,144/1,785 for 6,929. Well hey, almost 7k first week for Milky, pretty amazing really. No other new shows this week.

Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai Vol. 1 adds 461 BDs 27,004. 27k passed! Five weeks charting, impressive.

Summer update:
Amagami SS Sae Vol. 2 does 3,552/1,448 for 5,000 on the dot, while Ai Vol. 1 does 4,508/1,737 for 6,245. So Ai is bringing the numbers back up I guess.

Spring updates: (Note, AB! updated per DVD top 500 list additions)
Angel Beats! - Final average: 34,025
AB! Vol 1: 41,512 (*4 wk)
AB! Vol 2: 36,429 (*4 wk)
AB! Vol 3: 33,633 (*4 wk)

!! Vol 6: 36,399 -> 36,756 (*5 wk) - adds 357
!! Vol 7: 30,545 (*1 wk) - 26,726/3,819

OVAs, Movies, Boxsets etc:
Mobile Suit Gundam 00: Awakening of the Trailblazer adds 1,210/1,319 BDs and 3,036 DVDs to 132,475 total for all versions.

Suzumiya Haruhi no Shoushitsu totals so far are 1,283 RE DVD, 27,686 LE DVD, 2,030 RE BD and 98,686 LE BD for 130,910.

Gintama Benizakura-hen increases 1,013 DVDs to 132,982.

Black Rock Shooter is up 406 to 22,608.

Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha The Movie 1st up 345 to 103,953.

Next week is going to be huge... Kami Nomi, Star Driver, Index II, Bakuman, Yakumo and Kuragehime all start. Geh, I have a feeling the last three won't chart at all given the competition, and that a lot of the Vol. 2s from late December are coming out. Looks like it will indeed be horribly under-reported again.

Default 2010 DVD Top 500 (2009/12/28-2010/12/20)

http://jbbs.livedoor.jp/bbs/read.cgi...93278942/25-26

I'm just gonna dump this here... it's actually not that useful since so many releases also have a BD version, and it's also going to be less than ideal for releases that straddle the reporting period and only have partial results reported.

Post #26 looked like it was going to start a BD Top 100 but for some reason only one title is listed. I guess it's just showing that the lowest ranked anime BD in the top 100 is DtB2 Vol 1 at 10,073 in 94th place. Though that seems weird... we know anime is the majority of BD releases that sell well, and there couldn't have been ~70+ that sold over 10k, right?

I think the key to why there is only one is the bottom line:
他は数字の更新なし - "No other updates in the numbers."

Preliminary DVD numbers. Top 30 takes us down to 3k, hopefully the 100 isn't too hgh.

17 *5,071 Star Driver
18 *4,828 OreImo
19 *4,749 Index

All pulling almost exactly the same on DVDs (granted, Vol. 2 for OreImo) although both Star Driver and Index will have a much lower percentage of sales on BD than OreImo.

Maybe Star Driver, but I don't really consider a 4-5k difference that much of a gap with Index and Oreimo.

Well, that about what I consider a significant difference in ratio I guess. Latest Index BD guesstimates posted were 11596 at the high end, which is ~6.5k less than OreImo even though their DVD numbers were almost the same. Of course Index could end up selling more BDs than 11.6k, but we'll find out before too long.

Oh, the calculations were updated from when I last posted it, and even that updated one is now out of date. Index II's projected points for the one you're referring to was 2,335, but it ended up doing 2,618, which is only 40 points (on the dot) behind what Railgun vol 1 had when it went on sale. Star Driver also ended up doing 1,524 points for the BDs, so it's estimation is way out of date as well.

Also, >30 List for this week:

Quote:
30 3,044
56 1,929
93 1,139
Thank goodness, we didn't have a bloodbath like last month.

Ah good, 1139 is a much better threshold than 2200 or whatever the insane Christmas week was. Kinda figured that would just be more due to the Xmas bump than the number of anime releases. We should get fairly decent numbers then.
