Trinity Blood- Discs 1-7- finished- 2nd Best Vampire series. Hellsing being the 1st.

Wild Arms- Disc 1-4-finished- Funny and cliche western sci fi although it is still a good series.

Default Stuff Vegard is watching at the time

One Piece (489/∞)
...Okay, maybe that total episode-count is slightly exaggerated... Anyway, as always, it is the one series that I don't see myself ever giving up on... even though the past couple of episodes have been rather disappointing and filled with really annoying filler. (Dear Buggy: You and your group stopped being funny after about 2 seconds. GO AWAY.) Well, at least now that the Marineford-arc is over, there's some hope that the pacing will improve.

Star Driver - Kagayaki no Takuto (19/25)
Well... It's okay, I guess.

Bakuman (22/25)
Disregarding Obata and Ohba's ever-present sexism, it's still a very well-written series with some pretty entertaining characters. I just wish the pacing wasn't so slow...

Puella Magi Madoka Magica (10/12)
...My mind = Blown. Even taking into account how highly people seemed to hold this series, I did not expect it to be this good. Although I do kind of feel like punching myself for watching it now instead of waiting until it was finished... The wait for the final two episodes is killing me

Digimon Xros Wars (30/50?)
...So what if the pacing is crap. So what if the characters are poorly defined and the villains are infinitely more interesting than the heroes. Who cares? It's still fun as hell

OTOH, it perfectly describes Pokemon's total episode count .

Berserk (14-25) : 4 / 5
This is still a great series even with its out dated visuals. I finally gave the dub outtakes a try. I probably only laughed twice from all of them. Can't wait to see what the movies will be like.

Giant Robo (1-7 and Gin Rei) : 5 / 5
This is filled with so much awesome and tragedy. A top notch series musically and plot that makes me wish more were produced. The Gin Rei specials compliment the series so well with light hearted, fun adventures. My favorite was the Gin Rei robot, and everyone wearing a dress.

Mushishi (12-26) : 3 / 5
This is a good series, but I don't think I'll ever rewatch it. The only story that stood out to me was "A Sea of Writings" since the main character was able to find happiness despite her Mushi curse. The rest were too much of downers. One thing that stood out was some creepy visuals like seeing a liquid human in a jar.

Up Next...Samurai 7

Gun Sword-discs 1-4-finished- This was pretty good; I am glad I decided to buy it. A mixture of some great animes: Outlaw star, Trigun, and Cowboy bebop. Although from the director of Code Geass- This series had a lot more humor. The 1st half was humorous, but under it a plot with character development and got more serious as it went on. Overall give it an 8. I love the extra disc. Gun sword San is hilarious lots of violence for no reason lol.

Cool Re: Currently Watching (Winter 2011 Edition)

Lovely Complex-1-24 episodes-finished- This would make such a hilarious dub. This is one license I am crossing my fingers for.

Paradise kiss-discs 1-4- I love this anime so artistic and wonderful deep look into the fashion industry which is interesting. I still like this anime, but the ending. I guess it is more realstic in that sense because realistically Yukari wouldn't end up with George, but I love George as a character and somewhat feel sorry for him in the end.

Itazura Na kiss- A wonderful anime and a wonderful K-drama, now all we need is a dubbed version. Such a cute romantic comedy.

La Corda d oro- A cute comedy with music. I still like Nodame Cantabile a lot better, but this is a cute watch.

Currently watching (episodes watched up to in brackets):
Oustanding
Mitsudomoe season 2 (6)
This show never fails to bring a smile to my face and is on par to be the top 5 of 2011. As we round up to the last episodes, I hope they ramp up the Mitsuba x Sugisaki yuri.

Very Good
Ghost Stories (4)
I watched the first 2 episodes many years ago and because of the dub controversy, I never got to continue. After many years only, I'm now continuing. The horror is effective. The catchy ED seems a little out of place though.

Good and below
None

Just finished watching that last night. I really enjoyed this title and I am so hoping that there will be a second season of this based of the ending from the original TV broadcast. There are so many bad things that could come about when one loves eroge to death. But Kyosuke made sure many good things also came from it. The anime did a very nice job of bringing the characters close through the otaku culture. I just felt that Kirino was being way too unreasonable, but had shown the affection that she never knew about. The characters are great, especially Saori and Ayase.

Next up, I will finish watching the second season of Ah My Goddess. I started watching it last year and got halfway through it before I got too busy to continue, and I kept forgetting to finish it. But now that all episodes are streaming from Funi's website that I have continued to watch it and currently, I just watched episode 20 last night.

And I finally finished AMG season 2 after a long hiatus. Season 1 had a nice storyline while season 2 felt like filler material to me. Nonetheless, it still had all the things that make AMG so enjoyable. It's just that there is no real storyline for this season and it is, more or less, episodic.

Next up, I will be finishing up Kiba. I started watching it two years ago and got halfway. Then I restarted it a year ago and got through episode 38. Now I am planning to finish it.

And I just finished watching Kiba. I must say that this is an anime series that would have been much better served being only 26 episodes than 51. I felt like some of the episodes in this anime were completely unnecessary and that some of the stories were dragged out longer than they needed to be. The fighting scenes were real snoozers and are highly lacking in intensity. That is the main reason why I initially put this series on hold after watching through the first half. But I decided to revisit it since I am someone who finishes what I start.

Next up is MM!
