I guess that is a mater of opinion, because I wont usually watch a show without reading a synopsis of what it is about. and anyone I have ever known, or just talked to, always want to know what a show is about before watching it.

The review doesn't mention anything that wasn't in this episode. You, however, gave the motive for him becoming an exorcist. It's obvious he's going to become one, but he hasn't become one in this episode and we don't know what is exact motives are going to be.
