I watched this in an actual theater in Atlanta (and had flashbacks to watching one of the old Streamline theater releases, especially since the theater also had four 1980's arcade games in it). It was subtitled. Audience consisted of 9 people including me, but the theater had been showing it for a while.

At any rate, at various points in the story before any of these things were revealed, I predicted that although Amelia seems to be upset at Vash sexually harassing her, it's actually some other reason that will get completely resolved by the end of the movie. Then I figured that Amelia must be Gasback's daughter, and that revelation will result in the supposed conflict being resolved on the grounds that saving the villain helped Amelia, even though "you saved the villain and we suffered" remains a completely valid complaint for people who are not main characters.

The fact that I had to spoiler text that ought to tell you something about how predictable the plot is.
