Would be curious to know, on what are you basing this?

"It can't have been that popular?" How would you know?

All we know for Wagnaria! is that the Premium Edition sold out quickly. And comparing to other released NISA series, it's very highly likely that they reduced the Premium Edition print run. Outside of that, very little is known.

So the logic is that because the premium edition sold out quickly or because it got a regular edition after the premium sold out, it was unpopular? I guess...

Just a gut feeling. No data to back it up at all. That's why I stated it as "It can't have been that popular" rather than "It wasn't that popular".

I was just under the impression that it wasn't that big of a show popularity wise compared to other NISA shows. That's just the impression that I got, though.

IMO, Wagnaria seems less interesting/popular than Katanagatari so that's what I was basing it on. No data, just guts, but that works for Shonen heroes so it must be ok, right? lol

First up, NIS sent us a note this week to let us know that they will be taking one more round of orders from retailers for the final pressing of both Katanagatari Premium Edition sets. They have asked us to book our final qnties no later than Nov 8th for delivery around the end of the month. After that, the sets will officially be discontinued and strictly limited to whatever stock we have left on hand...
Just to note this quick, both sets are now OOS @ NISA Online Store. Whether OOS is equivalent to OOP (at least for their store) remains to be seen.

EDIT: Both sets are back in-stock now.

...First, the Katanagatari Premium edition is now sold out, however, NIS is printing one more batch which they expect to ship to us around the end of April. Until then, it will be back on pre-order...
