I'm still not sure on this one, I never bought it in the past when Geneon released it since it is not my favorite genre of anime. Thought, this looks really good, so I may get this.

As far as is known, it should be this way.

I don't care a great deal about the OVAs at this point, since it's been so long since the first four were released and the manga also finished up a while back. They'll have to be impressive releases (which Funi doesn't really do), or I'll just wait for some future BD collection (or perhaps not own it at all).

This is probably what I'll do.

This is one thing I like enough not to be too cheap to buy it on the initial release, but I just don't like the idea of having part in a box set and part in singles. And it's not like I haven't waited 3 years to see episode 5 anyway... what's a few more years to wait, right? But we'll see, maybe I will buy them as they come out...

Remember, 5 was released only on DVD first (then on blu-ray later with the box set of 1-4). 6-8 have all had BD releases from day 1 and are clearly HD. Certain shots of 1-4 (or maybe just 1) have been reanimated. From what I've seen with mixed results. Some scenes look more on-model to me from before and some look less, but that's mainly going from memory. The reanimated scenes are probably in HD.
