Well, just had the conirmation that vol. 7 with another gorgeous artbox was shipped!

We're almost finished! Volume 8 was just solicited today on the official listing. The cover art features a lovely (as usual) picture of Yuina and Nako! The cover of the Hanairo Notebook 8 is from the third artbox.

Included on this volume are episodes 22-24 (Wedding-Final Boss). For episode 22, we have character commentary by Tomoe (CV Mamiko Noto). Also on episode 22, we have the Female Staff Members' Free Time Chatter by Production Manager Akiko Okutsu, Finish Animator Yuko Koshida, and Production Advancement Keiko Ikezaki. For video extras, there will be the PV/CM collection 2, which contains announcement/BD CMs, and various PVs.

Inside Hanairo Notebook 8 we have the usual summaries, character designs, and a couple of staff interviews. There will be interviews from character designer/animation director Kanami Sekiguchi and main animator Yuriko Ishii. It will also contain corrected layouts from these two.

Yay for Yuina. I was disappointed with how little the show used her, but at least she's getting represented pretty well on coverart (she's on two of the three boxes and one of the volumes in each box).

Oooooh, that sounds fun. Maybe someday I'll be able to actually listen to it and understand more than 1% of what they're saying.

Keeping with my horrible schedule, Hanairo Notebook 6 is now translated.

I'll probably go back, edit the translations, add the character introductions (perhaps, they're mostly the same as on the website, so I feel little need), and make PDFs on my blog for a post sometime next month when I'm on a break.
