I know the winter season isn't over yet, but we had to just launch our spring season early!
So we're going to kick off things with our latest title: Hiiro No Kakera which will be joining our spring simulcast line up next week Monday!

Hiiro No Kakera will air Monday March 5, 2012 at 11 am PST and will be available in the following territories: U.S.A., Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Netherlands, Brazil, and Portugal.

Not exactly interested in Hiiro No Kakera, so I'll probably pass on it. But I might check it out if nice things are being said about this show if anything.

Hiiro no Kakera is not for me. Too bad. Nice to see Crunchyroll starting this season's simulcast announcements so much earlier than other seasons, though. I guess that's just because this one is airing so early. Hopefully as many of the other ones as possible get announced before they start, so they can start on time.

Crunchyroll continues to get a jump on the spring anime season with today’s announcement of Nyarko-san: Another Crawling Chaos.


As for distribution plans:

“Prior to simulcasting the new season, Crunchyroll will release the first five (5) episodes from season one (1) today at noon PST. The subsequent four (4) episodes will be available the following week until the completion of season two (2). More information can be found on www.crunchyroll.com/crawling.

After the final episodes of season two (2) have been broadcasted, Crunchyroll will begin simulcasting season three (3) on its site this April.”

Nyarko-san: Another Crawling Chaos will be available worldwide except for Asia.

The PR doesn't cite episode counts or lengths from what I can tell, so I'm still assuming it could be. I think most of the PR is detailing the previous seasons, and season three is only mentioned as following after those.

Though, yeah, I guess calling it "season three" could imply it's going to be the same format as 1-2. But not necessarily.
