Not listed there, but they're on her Japanese Wikipedia page. They're both shows that started in 2010 and continued into the first cour of 2011.

Anyone know where the original Japanese thread for this is? I'm curious how it's counted exactly. By first half, I assume January to June exactly, right? Does non-TV episodes like OVA's or movies count? I almost wondered if maybe live-action dubbing roles were counted in there, but hashihime does say "anime" and I'd think more unusual names would pop up there if they were being counted.

Probably got it from http://wikiwiki.jp/seiyu_syukei/ like the 2010 list.

2011 so far. Hashi's list is based on the "continuing included" list. If you take the list for shows starting in 2011 only, wtf Inoue is #1.

She was really surprisingly active near the beginning of this year, with quite a few new roles. I mean just doing a quick look at Winter and Spring-starting series on ANN:

(2011) Rio - Rainbow Gate! (TV) as Rio Rollins
(2011) Infinite Stratos (TV) as Laura Bodewig
(2011) Freezing (TV) as Chiffon Fairchild
(2011) Oniichan no Koto Nanka Zenzen Suki Janain Dakara ne—!! (TV) as Iroha Tsuchiura
(2011) Danbōru Senki (TV) as Ami Kawamura
(2011) Kämpfer für die Liebe (TV) as Natsuru Senō
(2011) X-Men (TV) as Riko Nirasaki
(2011) Maria Holic Alive (TV) as Matsurika Shinouji
(2011) Sket Dance (TV) as Momoka Kibitsu
(2011) Softenni (TV) as Sumino Kiba

X-Men role is episodic (two episodes). Sket Dance and Softenni are supporting roles but are in several episodes, and all of the rest are major lead characters.

Ah, yeah, I remember reading about that before.

Eh, since I'm curious, I'll do some research and see I can reach that number on Inoue Marina.

New (88)
---
Infinite Stratos (9)
X-Men (2)
Onii-chan (11)
Kampfer (2)
Sket Dance (5)
Softenni (6)
Danbooru Senki (18)
Freezing (10)
Maria Holic (12)
Rio (13)

Continuing (13)
---
Beyblade (11)
Gokujou!! Mecha Mote Iinchou (2)

Wow, interesting how everything adds up. The non-continuing episodes add up perfectly, and since it adds up to 101 and not 99 with the continuing episodes, I'm guessing the two Mecha Mote Iinchou episodes were missed for whatever reason. EDIT: Nevermind, maybe they were counted. 2 of the Beyblade episodes are of a season (4D) that started in April (not counted as continuing), and one of the Kampfer episodes apparently didn't even air on TV (that still leaves me one off, but maybe I made an error in there somewhere in counting).

Laura was introduced in Episode 5 so it only counts for 8 episodes.

I would think, but the databases I checked (including the one on the wiki that tracks the numbers) shows she was credited in the first episode too.

Oh you're right, I completely forgot the introduction scene was from one of the later episodes which had all 5 girls + MC.

Default Re: Seiyuu discussion

The 6th Annual Seiyuu Awards were announced recently.

The two main things of note for me are Yuuki Aoi winning Best Lead Actress and Kayano Ai winning Best New Actress. Kayano Ai has been a very noticeable rising star recently and Yuuki Aoi.... well, need I elaborate? She's amazing. Both are well deserved. Congratulations Kayano Ai and Ao-chan.

On a related note, some of us have occasionally wished we could listen to certain seiyuu (particularly Noto Mamiko) just, say, read a phone book or a dictionary, and we'd be in heaven. Well, its not Noto Mamiko, but its at least as good as far as I'm concerned. There is going to be a CD of Yuuki Aoi reading history words and puns. I am so getting this (already ordered it, in fact).
