Default Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya Menu Problem

Not sure if this has been addressed, but The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya Blu-ray disc doesn't play properly on my Philips BDP-7200. Yeah I know, it's an older model, but it plays pretty much every other BD in my collection flawlessly. But in the case of Disappearance, after the opening logos, it loads the menu animation, but no menu items are visible to click. I couldn't even simply press play or enter on my remote; the movie simply wouldn't start.

Now I popped the disc into my PS3 and the menu appeared correctly, so I could play the movie there. But my Blu-ray player, nope.

Anyone else experience this?

I haven't experienced this with my Sony BDP-S360 player. One thought is that perhaps your player doesn't like the BD-Java content on the disc...
