Oh god that was way, way funnier than it really had any right to be.
Yayoi's expressions during the classroom scenes were awesome. Also, for the record, she threw Rock this time.

Soul switching situations have been done in other forms of media, but at least this episode is funny.
It was never explained why Majorina created the soul-switching rings in the first place? Was it to switch bodies with a Precure and spy on them? The motivation is weak here. Candy turns Miyuki's school life upside down. Yayoi seems to be most embarrassed by the situation. The monster of the week turns out to be very small riding horse which is the right size for Precure Candy to battle.

Aahahaha, oh god, we got to see Cure "Candy" complete with the transformation sequence. And Cure Candy's fight was actually pretty awesome.
This show has always had a good sense of humor and fun, but this episode was particularly funny. More than it should have been, given the premise of the episode. Normally a body switch plot like this would annoy me with issues related to behavioral slip-ups, particularly with someone like Candy being put in a human body. But it actually worked really well here and the things that would normally bother me still happened (that's the entire source of the joke, after all) but weren't an issue. The other girls' attempts to cover for Candy/"Miyuki" were actually just cute and funny, and not also cringe-inducing. I particularly liked Reika's attempt to justify "Miyuki's" work of art on the chalk board. "Um, it must symbolize fairy tails." And the whole time, Yayoi just kept hoping the whole thing was a horrible, horrible dream. <3 Yayoi And somehow, the policebox scene with the witch was actually amusing. A scene in a PreCure series with just a villain and nameless NPC was actually worth a damn. I didn't know that was possible.

She's playing mind games, trying to get us comfortable with good old rock... and than suddenly... PAPER!! Or what if it's a mind game within a mind game... she foresees us seeing the switch to paper so we go scissors... but than she busts out rock!!

I don't know how popular April Fools is in Japan, but Yayoi should have stuck with a physical practical joke like a snake in a can.
The moral of the episode that lying is bad, but a better lesson is not to pull April Fools jokes on Miyuki. As an April Fools Joke, Yayoi tells Miyuki that she is transferring to a different school. The joke backfires and Miyuki takes the lie out of hand and the whole class thinks Miyuki is transferring. Yayoi being a shy person couldn't bring herself to tell the truth. Overall this episode was a little on a bland side because it relied on Miyuki blowing the lie out of proportion and Yayoi not telling the truth.

So she essentially threatens Candy by in essence doing something that she's supposed to do by default anyway given her job description.
Switching places with Candy is dangerous. Darn it, Cure Candy was the most powerful Cure ever! Maybe

Yayoi learns the problem with April Fools day is that sometimes people believe what you say too well.
You know, while I knew the transfer wasn't actually going to happen, the fact this episode was going to be related to April 1st slipped past me. At least until I saw it.

Finally watched this episode. Was rather funny, but still ughhh to the body swap. It's only funny because Miyuki swapped with Candy. Can say Inori had it worse when she swapped with Tart.

Poor Yayoi, should have started the joke with Akane. Starting with Miyuki instantly means you are already 6ft under. Next episode focus on Akane and her okonomiyakis.
